The first time I walked to college without makeup I’ve never felt so anxious in my whole life; I felt naked and ugly. Every single day since I was 12 I worn makeup giving me a persona of ‘the ginger girl who cakes her face’ and as soon as I died my hair I decided to strip that away.

 Ooooooo Paris, The constant love affair that I can't escape from; the heritage, the provocateur, the romance and yet fashion is the main source that constantly keeps me appealed to such a historic place. 

Christian Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton, Coco Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Yves Saint Laurent: The stream of designers who have been influenced by such a capital never fails to surprise me, how many people just like me who have fallen in love with the city. Paris is so picturesque and timeless; every slice of the city charming you with its individual characteristics that influence everything from the food, wines, building and outwear.

Paris has always been a home away from home, my father has worked there ever since I was 11 causing me to always have a connection to the city however when I visited the last week it was the first time I had been in 4 years- my French was dreadfully rusty as were my metro map reading skills. But with an adjust of my Topshop Longline coat and a flip of my newly toned hair I was ready to tackle the city- revisiting sights whilst reconnecting with such a magical place.

Unlike Central London, my actual home, Paris is pure; untouched, The buildings are still vintage and the Cafes still carry a rustic Parisian look (BTW if your ever By the Effile tower take a wander down the back streets, they sell amazing Pizza!!). Whereas London takes a mainly modern approach, especially around St Pauls etc, it can often be difficult to find a large area of purely untouched architecture; unlike Paris where it is everywhere you turn.

My Main advice for tackling Paris is to not plan your days, sure you'll have a list of things you want to do but make sure you don't schedule too much- the best things are found where you least expect them and rushing could cause you to miss them. The most beautiful place I've ever been in Paris was found just off a side street from the Louvre, this picturesque cafe was nearly missed however if offered some of the best Parisian Patisseries I've ever eaten in.  'PAULS' is always a great place to visti, although it may be a chain Cafe and can also be found in London it is an easy fix if you don't have the time to dash around looking for a unique patisserie.
Each time I go I always give myself a Mission, the last time I went it was 'Makeup' as 12 Year old me had luckily just discovered foundation and lipgloss; this time forever it was Lingerie after all this is where the sexualisation of women began in a great way) causing me to flurry into every boutique I walked past in order to find the most beautiful bras. My secret gift is my Sewing skills; lingerie being one of my favourite things to design so being in the origin of it all made me so so happy.

The packing on these falsies is absolutely stunning! Instead of having a plain clear plastic box like many of their competitors the company has opted for a more unique and stylish approach with a smart magnetic clip box complete with a push-pin cream design and teal ribbon detailing. After opening the box itself I was greeted with a tiny info card giving information to beginnings on how to cut, trim and apply them

There lashes are not only 100% mink, but 100% cruelty free- its a good feeling to know that you are not only helping anials, but looking FLAWLESSSSS doing it.

The lashes themselves are attached to the plastic packaging by three tiny dots of glue on each lash. I found this to be really really helpful due it not unshaping the lash as I pulled it away from it bonding on the packing. As per usual the lashes did not come with glue, however I found my eylure glue to work wonders with keeping them on like it does with every other type of falsies that I have ever worn. It does recommend to use duo lash glue with the lashes but I tend not to be a huge fan of it due to a little incident that I had with it in my eye a few months ago *Shivers with the pure memory*
I was super impressed with these as they fit amazingly to my lash line due to there very detailed shaping which also makes them appear super natural! They also blended in nicely with my normal lashes as they are not a thick jet black colour however are a slightly lighter shade of black. These lashes are really lightweight and I honestly forgot that I was wearing them whilst I was out which is very rare for me as I tend to feel every single moment of anything on my body.

I would really recommend to a friend?
Yes indeed! These are actually amazing and are probably one of the best pairs of falsies that I have ever worn, sorry eylure for betraying you! However the price does put me off- but if you do feel fine with paying that Kind of cash, then go for it!!!
